Breakpoint: The Kesland Crisis
Combined Corps NORTH has ninety-six hours to defeat a Dolvian penetration into Kesland and hold two MERIK River crossings, while a Red Cell playing Dolvian high command attacks the corps staff's decision-making and its use of an AI planning advisor.
A working sample for III Armored Corps to test, and unfinished. Expect rough edges and content that changes. Nothing here is an offer, quote, proposal or commitment on scope, schedule, price or contents, and no agreement exists on the basis of it. Everything in the scenario is invented, and unclassified — keep it that way.

Start here · no sign-in, nothing to set up Walk through the exercise in about five minutes It opens with a narrated setup — where Kesland is, who attacked it, what the corps was ordered to do and by when — then drops you into one real moment from the second simulation day, with the map, the base order, the clocks and the AI advisor live. Nothing you do here reaches a live session. Open the walkthrough →Works on a laptop, a tablet or a projector. It loads a map and one short surveillance clip, so give it a moment on a slow or filtered network — nothing is broken if the video takes a few seconds. Arrow keys move through the setup; you can skip it at any point and replay it from the corner button.
What it runs today
- Format
- Three days. One day of decision-science instruction, then two days of simulation. A pre-course experiment gives each officer a cold baseline before any of it.
- Measures
- Cognitive offloading — handing a step to the machine and keeping the check. Cognitive surrender — handing it over and dropping the check.
- The advisor
- Available at every desk, every consultation recorded. Fluent, doctrinally literate, and confidently wrong on named questions. The facilitator can flip it to a hedged voice mid-exercise.
- Clocks
- Ninety-six hours to the CJTF deadline, four days of Class V, and the Dolvian second echelon closing from TARNOW.
- Prep
- Blue and Red Cell participant guides, read before arrival. Cell guides are open — each side may read the other's brief.
Tell us what you think
Straight from this page, no email needed. What was unclear, what was wrong, what you would want different for your own staff. One line is useful.
This box reaches us directly. To mark up the program itself — the objectives, the run of show, the scope — use the program page, where each section takes a keep, change or cut.
When you are ready to scope it
The rate card and a builder that writes a performance work statement, a cost-estimate worksheet and a market research memorandum are published on the program site. Using it commits you to nothing.
Education and training services — NAICS 611430, PSC U008. A facilitated exercise delivered by people in a room, not an IT or software buy: nothing is installed on a government network, no government data is ingested, and no authority to operate is required.
Running it with a real cohort needs a facilitator and five seats. Those are on a separate page — the walkthrough above is the right place to start.
Under construction. Sample material prepared for III Armored Corps to evaluate, and for educational use. Not a contract, offer, quote, proposal or commitment; nothing here creates an agreement or obligation of any kind, and nothing here should be relied on as a statement of deliverable scope, schedule or price. All scenario events are fictional; Kesland, Dolvia, Aldenmark and every place name are invented for this exercise. Nothing here is drawn from or intended to represent any real state, force, or organization. Red Teaming Associates, LLC.
